Craft + Boogie - Customer Case Study

Craft + Boogie is a volunteer-run subscription business founded by Meghan McCloskey that ships monthly arts-and-crafts boxes designed by local artists to help families celebrate and to support kids in foster care, hospitals, and low-income schools. As Meghan scaled the business while juggling a full-time job and family, multichannel selling across Squarespace, Etsy, and Cratejoy created shipping complexity and inefficiency that threatened growth and her ability to focus on the mission.

By using ShipStation to consolidate orders and integrate all marketplaces into one panel, Craft + Boogie streamlined fulfillment and eliminated manual shipping work. The result: rapid, sustainable growth — from 24 boxes in July 2017 to selling out 400 in July 2020 (over 1,500% growth) — and more time and capacity to expand giving, ship directly to foster families and hospital patients, and focus on creative programming.
