A ShipStation Case Study
Bread and Badger is a small handmade glass-etching jewelry and giftware business founded by Amanda Siska after she left her full-time job to pursue art. As the business grew—serving both retail and wholesale customers and shipping up to 100 orders a day—fulfillment became a bottleneck: a two-person team relied on handwritten sticky-note pick lists and struggled with slow, error-prone shipping during peak seasons.
Adopting ShipStation centralized orders, print-ready pick lists and packing slips, and automated weights, dimensions, insurance, tags and carrier selection while syncing inventory and tracking across channels. The result: fulfillment time fell to about a third of what it was, batch-labeling lets assistants ship accurately with minimal training, and customers receive personalized packaging and branded tracking for a better post-purchase experience.
