Grey Ghost Bakery, founded by Katherine Frankstone, grew from a holiday fundraiser into a popular cookie brand known for its award‑winning Molasses Spice. As demand surged, Katherine faced the challenge of scaling a small‑batch bakery while handling production, packaging, shipping and the critical food‑safety and allergy compliance issues that come with a growing retail and online business.
Katherine responded by building an 18‑member team across marketing, production, warehousing, packaging and shipping and by implementing rigorous food‑safety practices. Today Grey Ghost supplies more than 200 retail locations (including Whole Foods) across 34 states and has a growing direct‑to‑consumer web business, all while maintaining product quality and safety.
