Carrefour Belgium, part of the Carrefour Group, runs 850 stores (90% franchised) and faces tight turnarounds across a high-volume network—about 250 trucks making 450 trips daily—where late or unknown deliveries disrupt store operations and franchisee satisfaction. To address this, Carrefour Belgium deployed Shippeo’s real-time transport visibility platform to give stores and distribution centers reliable, centralized delivery information.

Shippeo consolidated tracking for ~1,500 trucks, 370,000 loads per year and three carriers into one real-time view, using onboard devices and ML-driven ETA predictions while sending email/SMS alerts and tracking links to stores. The Shippeo solution reduced phone and email follow-ups, enabled proactive corrective actions at DCs, improved measurement of planned vs. actual arrivals and carrier turnaround times, and increased franchisee satisfaction.
