How WineShop at Home doubled their fulfillment output using less staff by partnering with ShipJunction

WineShop at Home, a Napa-based wine retailer that sells through in-home tastings, faced rapid growth and needed to scale warehousing and fulfillment while cutting shipping and labor costs. To address this, they partnered with ShipJunction and deployed ShipJunction Wave Manager to redesign fulfillment workflows and ShipJunction Rate Manager to optimize carrier selection and shipping spend.

ShipJunction eliminated manual bottlenecks by integrating document printing, automating pick-ticket sorting, and connecting order, compliance, and carrier systems. As a result, WineShop at Home doubled fulfillment output from 600 to 1,200 orders per day with fewer staff, cut order-prep time from 3–4 hours to about 10 minutes, reduced errors, simplified training, and lowered shipping expenses through optimized carrier/service selection.
