Gabe’s Chemo Duck, a nonprofit founded to support children and families affected by cancer, needed a way to make its therapeutic Chemo Duck plush companion more widely available. The organization turned to Shift4Shop for its eCommerce shopping cart software so parents, caregivers, hospitals, and businesses could easily order ducks and related items online.

Shift4Shop helped Gabe’s Chemo Duck launch an online store that was simple to maintain and process orders through, while also enabling visitors to register their duck and print adoption certificates and activities. As a result, the program expanded access to Chemo Ducks nationwide, helping more hospitals and families prepare children for treatment and reduce fear of the unknown through play therapy.
