Digital Goods Platform GamePoint Club Harnesses SHIELD’s Risk Intelligence to Enhance Trust and Safety

GamePoint Club is a leading digital goods and services platform in Southeast Asia that sells gaming credits and digital goods to gamers. Faced with promo and referral abuse, fake accounts and bots, and location spoofing that enabled price arbitrage and revenue leakage, GamePoint Club partnered with SHIELD to strengthen trust and safety using SHIELD’s Risk Intelligence—including SHIELD ID for device identification and SHIELD Risk Indicators for detecting malicious tools.

SHIELD implemented persistent device IDs, actionable Risk Indicators and access to its Global Intelligence Network to detect devices tied to multiple accounts, GPS spoofers and proxy usage, allowing GamePoint to ban abusive users, stop promo/referral fraud and close pricing-arbitrage gaps. As a result, GamePoint reported a 2x reduction in fraud, maintained gamer trust across Southeast Asia, and gained scalable defenses to support global expansion with SHIELD.
