Global Risk Management Solutions Provider, a global provider of risk management solutions, needed to modernize its aging data center to support future growth and reduce reliance on a costly hypervisor platform. SHI International Corp. helped the customer evaluate its traditional server blade and SAN infrastructure against a more modern hyperconverged approach using Dell Performance Analysis Collection Kit (DPACK) performance and storage metrics.

SHI International Corp. recommended and implemented a hybrid Dell-Nutanix solution with the Nutanix Acropolis hypervisor, combining Dell servers with Nutanix XD730xd nodes and storage controllers. The new environment improved agility, speed, flexibility, and manageability while reducing footprint and supporting business expansion, and it delivered approximately $2 million in savings over a three-month deal cycle.
