Travel Electric, a social enterprise founded in Amsterdam in 2012, operated an all-electric taxi fleet but found its existing dispatch system was limiting growth and making it hard to scale beyond a plateau in drivers and vehicles. Sherlock Taxi implemented a customised dispatch solution with changes to pricing, pre-book and ASAP booking allocation, and priority rules so Travel Electric’s own drivers could receive higher-priority work, especially for pre-booked account jobs. As a result, Travel Electric grew from 15 drivers to over 200, and monthly completed bookings increased by more than 20% thanks to improved auto-allocation efficiency.
