SheerID partnered with Staples to secure and streamline the retailer’s high-value Back to School promotions for college students and teachers. Staples needed a way to prevent fraudulent redemptions while delivering a rich, product-specific coupon experience—sending unique, single-use codes for multiple items after successful eligibility verification.
SheerID built a verification-triggered email that presented 14 Staples products, each with its own single-use coupon code and tracked URL that auto-added the selected item to the shopping cart and applied the discount. Over the three-month campaign, 27 different products were issued single-use codes and passed through to the Staples cart with the discount automatically applied, protecting exclusive offers and simplifying redemption.
