Expedia, known for its travel deals and Expedia+ gold loyalty rewards, wanted to offer a special military-only loyalty program tied to Expedia+ gold status. Their challenge was to securely and accurately verify military eligibility for the exclusive offer.
SheerID ran a 30-day proof of concept to measure interest and engagement, and the positive results led to an evergreen military program launched on Memorial Day 2016. Using the POC work to fast-track verification implementation, SheerID met launch deadlines and the rollout was highlighted in SheerID’s military holiday press campaign.
