How sheepCRM helps BGCI engage with its members in the digital age

Botanical Gardens Conservation International (BGCI), a global network of botanic gardens focused on plant conservation, needed a more membership-focused CRM to replace an outdated system that was built more for fundraising than member engagement. With around 750 organisational members, BGCI struggled to track, monitor, and communicate effectively with its members, making it harder to keep them engaged and retained.

SheepCRM provided BGCI with a membership platform, along with API and sheepFlow capabilities, to build an online members area, connect external data and training courses, and support digital communication and new use cases such as grant management and accreditations. With SheepCRM, BGCI became more technologically driven and saw steady membership growth over the past two to three years, increasing both membership numbers and income while improving member tracking and outreach.
