Case Study: Onet improves parking management and fairness with Sharvy

A Sharvy Case Study

Preview of the Onet Case Study

Onet improves the organisation of its parking and optimises the management of its 365 spaces thanks to the Sharvy application

Onet, a family-owned international group, faced a significant challenge in managing the 365-space parking lot at its Marseille headquarters. An outdated allocation system meant up to 40% of spaces were unused daily due to employee absences from teleworking and travel, creating a shortage for its 750 on-site employees. To address this inflexibility and inefficiency, Onet sought a new solution and chose to implement the Sharvy application.

Sharvy configured its parking management solution to end the policy of allocated spaces, promoting a flexible, shared system. The application allows employees to reserve and release spaces, with an algorithm ensuring fair allocation based on past usage and prioritizing carpoolers. This implementation by Sharvy led to a drastic reduction in allocation refusals, with the rejection rate falling to just 0.07%. The solution optimized space usage, eliminated the need to rent external parking, and improved employee satisfaction and fairness.
