Case Study: African Leadership University achieves measurable leadership improvements with Sharpist coaching

Taking young ALU leaders to the next level with Sharpist coaching

ALU (African Leadership University) needed to accelerate leadership development for its emerging managers and complement an internal 9‑module program with a scalable, holistic coaching solution. To meet that challenge, ALU partnered with Sharpist to integrate digital coaching into its leadership curriculum for 45 leaders, targeting areas like change management and the special needs of early-career leaders.

Sharpist delivered individual, targeted coaching plus thematic micro-tasks and co‑designed an extra module on change management based on coaching data, with pre‑ and post‑program measurement using the Sharpist leadership model. Results showed improvements across all leadership dimensions (largest in change management) and strong satisfaction: 100% satisfied with their Sharpist coach, 94% would recommend Sharpist, and 94% said their coach helped them achieve defined goals, demonstrating Sharpist’s digital coaching effectiveness.
