CGI used SharpCloud, a data visualization and analytics platform, to tackle several complex business challenges, including managing innovation ideas, overseeing large deployment projects, and improving access to project management information for stakeholders. Their team needed a more collaborative, user-friendly way to understand data, spot patterns, and support better decisions than conventional BI tools, spreadsheets, and static project documents could provide.

With SharpCloud, CGI built intuitive dashboards and “stories” that visualized idea intake and prioritization, deployment status across more than 1,400 sites, and PMO data such as resources, milestones, and timelines. SharpCloud also served as a potential data repository and record of truth when needed. The result was faster delivery of high-quality visualizations, improved decision support, and strong perceived business value—so much so that “everyone who sees the tool, wants it.”
