GetYourGuide, the Berlin-based travel experiences platform, needed a better way to manage equity as it scaled to 650 employees across 16 countries. Its manual share plan process relied on spreadsheets, repeated document reprinting, and inconsistent data entry, making grant administration error-prone and difficult for HR to track vesting and employee awards. To solve this, GetYourGuide implemented Shareworks by Morgan Stanley, using Shareworks Equity Administration and Shareworks Participant Experience to digitize grant letters, centralize new grant uploads, and give employees self-serve visibility into share values and vesting. The result was an estimated 30% reduction in HR time spent on plan administration, improved accuracy, fewer basic employee questions, and higher participation in the equity plan.
