Schuster Concrete Companies, a large Mid-Atlantic concrete construction firm, needed a better way to replace manual spreadsheets and disconnected systems with more collaborative, efficient workflows. Working with ShareFile and Podio, Schuster set out to improve productivity across IT, safety, sales, and HR while supporting a growing workforce of more than 1,000 employees.

ShareFile and Podio helped Schuster automate document and business processes end to end, including support requests, safety reporting, sales quotes, and hiring/onboarding. The results were significant: Schuster managed nearly 10,000 support requests in Podio, built more than 1,000 workflows and 2,000 apps, saved over 14,000 hours in a 30-day period, and cut hiring time by nearly 90% from 45 minutes to about five minutes per person.
