RSM, the Swedish accounting firm and member of the global RSM network, needed a secure way to unify three IT systems after a merger and support staff who worked remotely and on client sites. With no VPN and growing concerns around file version conflicts, security, and inefficient PC-by-PC updates, RSM turned to ShareFile and Workspace Suite to modernize how its auditors and accountants accessed data.

ShareFile helped RSM exchange large files securely with clients, while the new virtual workspace let employees access apps, desktops, and files from anywhere with two-factor authentication. The result was a paperless, more secure workflow with no customer data on endpoint devices, faster client meetings, and easier IT management across three sites; RSM reported that its IT workload decreased even as the firm doubled in size.
