A Shapr3D Case Study
Rev Limit Customs, a hot rod shop in Lubbock, Texas, needed a faster way to manage design and manufacturing after shutdowns in 2020 and 2021 left them with a backlog and a lean team. The crew had to solve design problems on the fly, communicate clearly with clients, and reverse engineer parts more efficiently while dealing with worker shortages and limited time.
Using Shapr3D CAD, Rev Limit Customs moved design work onto the iPad and other devices to quickly model parts, share lifelike 3D visualizations, and send Review Links for feedback. Shapr3D helped the team speed up reverse engineering and finalize designs faster, allowing over half the staff to use CAD in their workflow and enabling the shop to deliver more projects with fewer people while cutting down backlog and improving production efficiency.
