Kenwood leverages real-time concepting to iterate results instantly

Kenwood Limited, part of the De'longhi Group, designs kitchen appliances and needed a faster way to keep design and engineering aligned under short product cycles and tight deadlines. Its team was slowed by traditional CAD tools that were desktop-bound, time-consuming to load and edit, and prone to back-and-forth during concepting and review, making it harder to protect design intent and meet product requirements.

Using Shapr3D, Kenwood moved to real-time concepting on iPad and across devices, letting designers and engineers review, modify, and communicate 3D ideas live in meetings and remotely. With Shapr3D Review Links and direct editing in 3D, the team produced next-day prototypes, tested more concept variations, resolved design and safety issues earlier, and improved communication and trust across teams while staying on schedule.
