Verner Architects - Customer Case Study

Verner Architects, a boutique architecture firm in California, needed a custom 6-foot vanity for a children’s bathroom that would be both durable and waterproof, while still feeling fun and unique. They turned to ShapeWays for large-scale 3D printing support, using SLS printing with Nylon 12 [Versatile Plastic] and a finishing process suitable for a high-end residential project.

ShapeWays helped Verner Architects create an ocean- and coral reef-inspired vanity designed as four parts for assembly, with test prints and design simplification along the way. The final result was a lightweight yet strong custom product finished with waterproofing and catalyzed polyester coating, delivering a long-lasting luxury vanity that met the client’s design vision and performance needs.
