Learning XR got easier and more accessible thanks to ShapesXR

The customer, Immersive Insiders, partnered with Futuregames to upskill students for the XR industry but faced the challenge of overwhelming and complex tools that created a steep barrier to entry for new designers. Students were often demotivated by the difficulty of learning traditional software like Unity and 3DS Max just to start prototyping. ShapesXR was identified as a solution to make the learning process more accessible.

Using the ShapesXR platform, the curriculum included live sessions where students learned to design and prototype in a collaborative virtual environment. This solution enabled students to go from idea to a functional AR or VR prototype within two weeks, drastically reducing frustration and learning time. The result was a highly-rated learning experience, and ShapesXR is now a core tool in the Futuregames curriculum, recognized for making XR prototyping accessible to a broader range of creators.
