Ink & Fire, a VR narrative experience co-produced by VRXP and Studio KwO XR, faced the challenge of designing an application around 3D scans of prehistoric caves with a remote team. The project required making precise spatial decisions, translating a script into a 3D storyboard, ensuring user comfort, and enabling effective remote collaboration, all within a constrained budget and timeline. They turned to the vendor, ShapesXR, for a solution.

Using the ShapesXR platform, the team imported 3D models and designed the entire application flow at a 1:1 scale in a shared virtual space. This allowed for intuitive real-time collaboration and iteration, eliminating the need for frequent compiled builds.
