Leading Global Online Dating Company, a global dating platform serving 35 million members in more than 50 countries, was hit by large-scale credential stuffing attacks across its website and mobile app in 2016. The attacks led to frequent account takeovers, catfishing and spamming schemes, damaged user trust, and created a heavy support burden. The company turned to Shape Security after a CDN provider’s mitigation tool proved too limited and resource-intensive to manage.

Shape Security deployed its web and mobile protection service within weeks and quickly blocked the automated attacks before they reached the origin server.
