VÚCHS Rapotín - Customer Case Study

VÚCHS Rapotín, a science and research organization in the Czech Republic, wanted better visibility into cow movement to help prevent sickness in its herd. The project focused on cattle tracking as part of its livestock digitization effort.

Sewio Networks implemented an RTLS-based solution using 16 UWB anchors across 2,000 square meters and RTLS tags on 110+ cows. Sewio Networks also developed a special tag housing for the cows’ necks. The real-time data fed an AI predictive algorithm to identify potentially sick cows early, helping reduce treatment costs, production loss, antibiotic use, and the risk of spreading illness through the herd.
