Saab Ridskolan Strömsholm - Customer Case Study

Saab Ridskolan Strömsholm, part of a long-term innovation effort with the Swedish Equestrian Federation and Saab, wanted better data on rider movement and training in its equestrian facilities in Sweden. The school worked with Sewio Networks to add indoor positioning for tracking horses and riders during training.

Sewio Networks installed an RTLS with 50 cm positioning accuracy, using UWB tags on riders’ helmets and 12 anchors to cover the riding arena. The system was set up to send rider data to an analytics app so training could be evaluated and improved, with results used to help riders plan practice and support research projects.
