3B Hungária, a family business with 30 years of experience in material handling and conveying equipment, was spending too much time finding steel assembly parts in its 3,200 m² production facility. Operators often searched for 2 to 3 hours to locate the right components, and the similarity of parts made the process difficult in the company’s metal-heavy manufacturing environment.

Sewio Networks, delivered through IBCS Hungary, installed a UWB RTLS system with 30 anchors and 570 tagged metal stacking pallets to localize components with 60-centimeter accuracy. The solution also included indoor navigation software for forklift operators, and it reduced the average searching time to about 15 minutes, a 90% drop, with implementation completed in 3 months.
