With SevOne, Knology gained instant reporting, graphing, and historical performance auditing to pinpoint saturation points, monitor Internet transit bandwidth, and show customers detailed bandwidth usage and SLA adherence. The solution helped Knology quickly build custom views from multiple devices and interfaces, improve internal network efficiency, and lay the groundwork for a customer portal. According to Knology, SevOne enabled it to identify when customers were nearing purchased bandwidth limits and support on-demand upgrades, while reducing the complexity of open source reporting.
