Progress, a provider of a leading platform for developing mission‑critical business applications, needed a better way to leverage visitor data across three websites to justify design changes and improve user experience. To do this, Progress turned to SessionCam and its integrations with Google Analytics and Google Optimize to map visitor behavior and uncover where users struggled.

Using SessionCam’s session replays, Customer Struggle score and segmentation, Progress isolated problem journeys—most notably confusion on the free trial download page where users didn’t realize they had to select an operating system. With a simple change to supporting content and button behavior, Progress improved its conversion rates, and continues to use SessionCam to validate design decisions and monitor high‑value routes to conversion.
