GoCompare, a price comparison business, needed to understand visitor buying habits and quickly find website errors that were costing revenue. Using SessionCam — including its Google Analytics integration, Customer Struggle score and Error Reporting — GoCompare could watch session replays to see where visitors became frustrated and identify critical issues blocking purchases.

SessionCam’s session replays and automated Customer Struggle scoring highlighted a bug that prevented entry of the second policyholder’s postcode on joint life insurance quotes. After the development team fixed the issue identified via SessionCam, conversion rates then skyrocketed, abandoned sessions were reduced, and GoCompare regained lost revenue while significantly cutting the time spent hunting problems.
