A Sesame Software Case Study
Junior State of America (JSA) is a student-run non-profit that develops young leaders nationwide but was struggling with an ill-fitting, aging association-management system. The organization needed a branded, easy-to-use portal and public e-commerce site to manage thousands of student, alumni and donor members and geographically dispersed event registrations, and to integrate CRM and financial systems (Salesforce and QuickBooks) while being supportable by a very small IT team.
JSA implemented Sesame Software’s Relational Junction Suite to provide a custom branded portal and e-commerce front end, bi-directional Salesforce replication to a relational database, QuickBooks integration, and conversion of six years of legacy data. The result was consistent, centralized customer and order data, no loss of historical records, online capture of registrations and orders, improved billing and receivables in QuickBooks, and the ability to handle roughly 20,000 annual event registrations with a small IT and accounting staff.
