Intermarché, a food-retail group operating around 2,300 stores across France, Portugal, Belgium and Poland, needed to improve in-store price readability, guarantee that shelf prices matched checkout scans, and reduce the labour involved in paper-based label management. For the new Intermarché hypermarket in Rambouillet, store manager Laurent Gherardi selected SES-imagotag’s graphic electronic shelf labels (G-tag range) to deliver clearer displays and simpler store operations.
SES-imagotag installed G-tag 6 labels throughout the store and G-tag 18 units in the fruit and vegetable aisle, enabling logo/barcode display, faster price updates and the elimination of printed stickers. The result: customers reported maximized price visibility, staff quickly adapted to the system and time spent initializing and managing labels became minimal; SES-imagotag’s solution is already deployed in over 1,200 Intermarché outlets and the vendor has worked with the Mousquetaires group for 16 years.
