Farmacia Niguarda, a long-established pharmacy in Milan, worked with SES-imagotag to replace paper shelf tags with electronic G1 retail 2.7 labels (two sizes) in 2015; Promelit delivered the ESL management software based on SES-imagotag’s core. The pharmacy’s key challenge was that medicine prices are managed centrally and require immediate updates, so the solution had to provide real-time pricing and full integration with the existing accounting software.

SES-imagotag’s system was integrated into Farmacia Niguarda’s accounting software and linked to Promelit’s management platform, with the infrastructure and labels installed in one day without disrupting business. As a result, the store used SES-imagotag’s promotion functionality to boost sales—items on special pricing generated almost twice the usual volume.
