Bossard, a Swiss market leader in fastening technology, needed a more efficient material management solution to streamline production and logistics. In 2015 they partnered with SES-imagotag and installed G1 pro 2.7 labels as part of their SmartLabel initiative to improve inventory visibility and ordering at the point of use.

Together with SES-imagotag, Bossard developed the Smart-Label—an intelligent bin-mounted display that shows product information, real-time order status and delivery dates, and includes a button to release orders directly at the point of use. SES-imagotag’s pro labels deliver high readability and low maintenance, are integrated with Bossard’s existing infrastructure and online ordering platform, and provide transparent order statistics and real-time order control, improving material management and reducing manual ordering steps.

Bossard
