Bilka, part of the Dansk Supermarked group, operates 17 hypermarkets in Denmark (sales area 7,500 m2 and >30,000 ESLs per store) and faced the challenge of deploying an upgradeable, low–cost electronic shelf labeling system that could handle high transmission volumes, display five separate LCD areas for promotions, and adapt to varied shelving and customization needs. After evaluation, the retailer selected SES-imagotag to meet these requirements.

SES-imagotag, rolled out with Wincor Nixdorf as preferred partner, delivered a combined segment and graphic ESL infrastructure across Bilka stores, enabling fully customized displays and much faster price changes.
