Trackable efficiency on commercial jobs speeds Lovett Services to increased profitability

Lovett Services, a Portland-area commercial trades company led by Gary Cosmer, needed a better way to improve efficiency, track performance, and boost profitability across its varied operations, including plumbing, drain, excavation, directional drilling, vac truck services, and mitigation. After coming on board with ServiceTitan in February 2021, Lovett used the cloud-based platform to better manage commercial work and keep a close eye on key business metrics.

With ServiceTitan, Lovett Services built daily scorecards to monitor KPIs such as on-time service, technical utilization, revenue per hour, and job efficiency. The results were significant: revenue grew from $16 million to just under $20 million, net contribution rose from about 8% to around 13%, and plumbing profitability increased by 30% dollar-wise. ServiceTitan also helped strengthen customer experience and internal accountability, contributing to Lovett’s 4.9 Google review rating.
