ServiceTitan ‘Compass’ Guides HVAC Company Owner from $4.25 an Hour to $10 Million

Red Apple Air, an HVAC company in Los Angeles run by Fermin and Misty Rivera, grew from the founder’s early days earning $4.25 an hour into an ambitious business aiming for $10 million in revenue. Years of ad-hoc systems, a damaging employee theft incident and generic software left the company in “chaos” and unable to scale reliably without better operations, sales tools and forecasting.

In November 2018 they adopted ServiceTitan and implemented its options sheets, six-tier proposals, dispatching board, call booking, reporting and call recordings. The platform increased average ticket size by roughly $2–3K, improved dispatching, invoicing and accountability, and provided the KPIs and systems Red Apple Air needs to expand hours, add plumbing and electrical services, and pursue their $10M growth target.
