French Hospital Center, a French hospital center with nearly 4,000 employees, needed a better way to monitor its high-availability IT infrastructure after the free Nagios solution proved difficult to maintain, administer, and use for dashboards and reporting. ServicePilot replaced Nagios with a solution that simplified monitoring through built-in templates and referential files, unified performance monitoring across technologies, improved historical analysis and forecasting, and made PDF reporting easy to generate. It also preserved existing Nagios scripts through the ServicePilot Remote Plugin Agent and API integrations, while reducing administration to about 1 hour per week and helping the IT team detect and resolve incidents faster.
