Hapag-Lloyd, a leading global liner shipping company, faced the challenge of managing fleet maintenance, procurement, and HSQE across several disparate systems. To streamline operations and create a single source of truth for their data, they chose to implement the SERTICA platform, specifically utilizing its Master Data Management (MDM) module.

The solution centered on creating a standardized "Golden Vessel" component tree within SERTICA's MDM, which centralized all maintenance data, supplier information, and stock details. This provided a uniform structure across the fleet, simplifying searches and processes for onboard crews.
