Technology Manufacturer and Retailer partnered with Serrala to address explosive online retail growth, massive data volumes, and the need to keep customer data secure and available for reporting and audit requests. With 25 billion transactions per year, its existing infrastructure was struggling with performance, stability, and long-term retention requirements, while new privacy regulations added further compliance pressure.

Serrala implemented a hybrid archiving and storage strategy using standard SAP archiving objects with PBS Archive Add On modules, PBS Nearline storage, data encryption and retention controls, and the TJC Audit Extraction Cockpit. This enabled fast access to archived sales data, stronger data security, and easier audit response. As a result, the company archived more than 250 TB of data, improved system performance, and maintained compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
