Case Study: Siemens achieves global receivables automation with Serrala FS² AutoBank

A Serrala Case Study

Preview of the Siemens AG Case Study

Optimizing the Receivables Management in a Complex, Global Shared Services Landscape

Siemens AG, the global engineering and electronics company, needed to improve receivables management across a complex, worldwide shared services landscape with many SAP and non-SAP systems. To reduce manual work in bank statement reconciliation and cash application, Siemens chose Serrala’s SAP-integrated Cash Application solution, FS² AutoBank.

Serrala implemented FS² AutoBank to automate matching of incoming payments, remittance advices, and lockbox data directly in SAP, enabling Siemens finance teams to manage rules more independently and roll out the solution across countries. The result was significantly higher automation and reconciliation rates, including a 30–40% increase in automatic matching from improved remittance processes, with the solution already deployed in 17 countries and helping Siemens save time and costs.
