KRONES Group, a global manufacturer of beverage and liquid food processing and packaging systems, needed a better way to manage liquidity and payments as its business expanded internationally. Excel-based planning was no longer sufficient, and its old bank protocol was being phased out, prompting KRONES to seek an SAP-integrated solution for cash and liquidity management, treasury, and payment processing from Serrala.

Serrala implemented fully SAP-integrated solutions, including FS² Payments and related cash management tools, embedded in KRONES’ SAP ERP environment. The result was more accurate, granular, and faster liquidity planning based on automated account statement data, plus secure high-volume payment processing of more than 12,000 transactions per week without file manipulation risks. KRONES also reduced IT dependency, improved compliance and fraud prevention, and lowered total cost of ownership through simpler administration and automation.
