Global Research University, a world leader in research and education, faced a significant invoice backlog and highly manual accounts payable processes. With 40,000 employees and processing 30,000 invoices monthly, nearly half of which were paper-based, their AP team was inundated and could only process two-thirds of the invoices received, creating a backlog of 7,000 invoices each month.
