Flexibility is Key for Automating Accounts Receivable Processing!

Electrolux, the Swedish household appliance manufacturer, needed to automate and standardize accounts receivable processing across its SAP environment. Before the project, bank statement matching was only partially automated and remittance advices were processed fully manually, creating delays and limiting visibility into cash.

Electrolux implemented Serrala’s SAP-embedded FS² AutoBank solution to automate bank statement and remittance advice processing for 23 company codes in 21 countries. With Serrala, Electrolux achieved average automatic matching rates of 73% for bank statements and 67% for remittance advices, while cutting processing time by 45% in the first phase and expecting up to 50% savings after rollout to the Nordics.
