Case Study: Koch Media centralizes credit controlling and reduces bad debt losses with Serrala

A Serrala Case Study

Preview of the Koch Media Case Study

Centralizing Credit Controlling in an International Growth Market

Koch Media, an international digital entertainment company, needed to centralize credit controlling and reduce the heavy administrative effort involved in managing credit insurance across multiple ERP systems and countries. As it moved to SAP as its enterprise-wide system of record, standard SAP functionality was not enough to handle credit insurance obligations, limit tracking, and related follow-up processes, so the company turned to Serrala and its SAP-integrated FS² Credit module, Credit Insurance.

Serrala implemented the Credit Insurance solution to connect Koch Media’s SAP environment directly to its insurer, automate limit requests and reporting, maintain up-to-date credit limits in SAP, and provide centralized visibility into customer, debtor, and risk data. The result was significantly lower bad debt losses, centralized risk management across 12 company codes and 10 subsidiaries, and real-time access to credit information for around 1,500 customers worldwide.
