BRF, one of the world's largest food companies, faced challenges with inefficient and risky payment processing across its 117-country operations. To achieve greater security and centralize control, they partnered with vendor Serrala to implement an SAP-embedded payment automation solution.

Serrala implemented a hybrid solution using its FS² Payments and FS² AutoBank modules for on-premise processing and its Payment as a Service for cloud-based bank communication. This provided BRF with an automated, secure, and SAP-integrated workflow. The results included an 89% improvement in operational efficiency, with 96% of payments now processed end-to-end. Serrala's Fraud Monitor also significantly improved payment security.
