Adient, the global automotive seating supplier, needed to centralize and standardize accounts payable across its shared service center in Bratislava, Slovakia, while reducing manual work, improving invoice visibility, and handling high invoice volumes more efficiently. To meet these challenges, Adient worked with Serrala and its SAP-integrated FS2 AccountsPayable solution.
Serrala implemented FS2 AccountsPayable to automate invoice capture, approval, posting, duplicate detection, and supplier communications, while also supporting manual payment requests, travel expenses, and a supplier portal. The results included reduced scan-to-post time, a rise in OCR accuracy from 10% to 50%, a 50% drop in support tickets related to missing payment details or invoice status, and lower costs per invoice through greater automation and paperless processing.
