University of Virginia Alumni Association Maximizes Efficiencies with Serenic Navigator

The University of Virginia Alumni Association needed accounting software with more functionality than its existing system provided. The association wanted to reduce staff burden and improve efficiency while managing more than $50 million donated each year to the university’s foundations, scholarship programs, and trusts.

The association implemented Serenic Software’s Serenic Navigator, certified for Microsoft Dynamics NAV. With Serenic Navigator, it could import data directly from the university donor system, saving 10–15 man-hours each week and reducing duplication of effort and manual-entry mistakes. Serenic Software also enabled automated email distribution of management reports, allocation tools that eliminated calculation mistakes, and other features that supported more efficient accounting operations.
