Unit21 automates 80% of post-webinar work with Sequel

Unit21, a no-code platform for risk and compliance operations, faced the challenge of extracting maximum value from its webinar content. Post-event, a significant amount of expert insight was left underutilized, typically resulting in just a single replay email. To address this, GTM Engineer Nick Bennett partnered with vendor Sequel to leverage its Model Context Protocol (MCP) service, aiming to automate and scale their post-webinar content repurposing.

The solution involved connecting Sequel's MCP to an AI assistant, Claude, which was given context through a detailed internal knowledge base dubbed the "Unit21 Brain." This integration allowed Unit21 to automatically generate 19 distinct assets from a single webinar transcript, including blogs, nurture emails, social clips, and sales enablement materials. The results were substantial, automating roughly 80% of the post-webinar workflow and saving an estimated 29 hours of work per event, a task that was previously mostly left undone.
