Case Study: SciLifeLab boosts collaborative biosciences research with Seqera

Seqera helps SciLifeLab conduct pioneering research into multi-disciplinary molecular biosciences

SciLifeLab, Sweden’s national center for molecular biosciences, needed a scalable and collaborative data analysis platform to support its DNA sequencing and analysis work across biomedicine, ecology, and evolution. Facing complex pipelines, growing data volumes, and the need for reproducible, auditable results, the organization turned to Seqera’s Nextflow and Tower platform to improve workflow management and collaboration.

Seqera implemented Nextflow for reproducible, collaborative workflows, complemented by open-source nf-core pipelines and Seqera Platform/Tower for monitoring, sharing, and accessing multi-cloud compute resources. The result was faster, more efficient analysis, improved flexibility across cloud and on-prem environments, stronger collaboration with internal and external partners, and reduced monthly cloud spending through better resource use and pipeline caching.
